Tools for using glue

May sound funny or basic but here are my tips.
I use wood toothpicks to mix the epoxy. I also use a small paper pad to mix the glue on.When done mixing throw the used tooth pick away and get a new one. It will work better than the used one with glue all over it. When totally done fold the paper over the remaining glue and throw away. This prevents it from sticking to something and causing a problem. I have had those problems and learned from them.

Mixing epoxy

First I squirt out evenly from each tube. The best way is to make two squirts equal in length and width. You need to mix thouroghly to get both parts evenly mixed. Be sure to scrape under the blob on the paper to get all mixed together.

Jewelry glue tips

Here are just a few of my glue tips that I discovered over many years of production glue use. Glue is very messy and will leak and get all over things after opening. I hate glue to get out of the tube and get in my stuff or on my bench or worse in my drawer on my tools. After many attempts at preventing this from happening and it still does I finally found the ultimate solution. When done using instead of putting back in the little box to leak or the package it came in. I put the glue into a smaller plastic bag with the screw top facing inward. I store in these plastic bags and find the glue never leaks from them. But if it does leak, it is still contained in the little plastic bag. Two part epoxy is the worst at leaking.
